The Centre of Excellence for Heritage Craft Skills and Estate Management has established the York Minster Precinct as a world-class campus facility for research, education and training in traditional craft skills.  We’re looking for new Apprentices, from all walks of life, to join us in 2025.

All Apprentices will play a part in the multidisciplinary team of skilled heritage craftspeople and experts caring for York Minster and its seven-hectare Precinct.  Apprentices will learn their trade in an exceptional workplace and be committed to the sustainable future of heritage craft skills, the Cathedral and its Precinct.

York Minster is a living wage employer, and Apprentices may claim a travel allowance for travel to and from college.  We also hope to be able to offer our 1^st year apprentices on-site accommodation in our Centre of Excellence facility.  Details of the accommodation, availability and rental cost will be published soon.
