Hours: 37.5 per week

A vacancy has arisen working as a Gardener as part of the historic Stoneyard of York Minster. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Works and Precinct, the successful candidate will be involved in general gardening tasks, including but not limited to maintaining Dean’s Park and the residentiary gardens, cleaning and lifting. Labouring experience is essential and a particular interest and competence in horticulture would be beneficial, however full training will be provided. Basic building and health and safety knowledge together with a driving license, are desirable.

This position is due to start as soon as possible and is for a fixed term of up to 23 months.
