£26,000 – £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience

York Minster is one of the world’s most magnificent cathedrals, welcoming hundreds of thousands of people from across the globe every year. The cathedral is looking for a strong communicator who is able to translate strategy into actionable plans to drive footfall and revenue generation in a location that enjoys a multi-faceted market position as the north of England’s preeminent church, one of the country’s most popular visitor attractions, and as a busy, diverse events venue.

You will be a crucial member of the team delivering a range of activity covering the full marketing and communications mix, utilising the latest technologies, tactics, and trackers to generate leads, tell evocative stories, and measure campaign performance.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with marketing skills and expertise in a high profile and fast-paced environment, going behind the scenes at one of the world’s most magnificent cathedrals to amplify its near-1400-year-old story.
