York Minster Work’s Department is looking to appoint a Project Manager to have overall responsibility for the management of all stone projects in the Cathedral Precinct. Reporting to the Director of Works and Precinct the successful candidate will work closely with the Master Mason to coordinate the multi-disciplinary teams in their shared goals of the conservation and restoration of the fabric of York Minster.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years PQE in the heritage sector with substantial experience of conservation and ability to lead the delivery of exemplary craft skills to the highest quality. A proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget is a must and membership to a registered body (such as RICS or CIOB) or a qualification in a related field would be of benefit.
