The popular service group for pre-school kids!
19 Jul 17
Join us on alternate Wednesday’s for Minster Mice – our popular service for parents/carers and their pre-school aged children.
The first half of the session is a short interactive service including playtime, bible stories, singing, interactive prayers and a craft. The second half of the session is snack time and play time for the children and tea and coffee and conversation for parents and carers and an opportunity to socialise and share their experiences about the joys and struggles of caring for their youngsters.
The sessions start at 10.00am and will normally last until 11.30am in the Quire of York Minster. All entry is free for the sessions – please ask one of our visitor hosts for directions and access if required.
Minster Mice is a simple and accessible session which aims to tackle some of the loneliness, isolation and stress experienced by parents and carers of babies and toddlers by welcoming them into the Minster to spend time with others in the same situation.
