Pentecost marks fifty days since Easter Day and brings the Easter season to an end. It is a chance for Christians to recall how God’s Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ ascension, empowering them to allow the Holy Spirit to guide and inspire their own actions.

8.00am: Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer
A simple said service in the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer and King James Bible.

10.00am: Choral Matins
Following the pattern of Matins from the Book of Common Prayer, with sung psalms, canticles and an anthem.

11.00am: Choral Eucharist – this service will also be livestreamed
We give thanks for the coming of the Holy Spirit bringing to birth the community of people who bear the name of Christ, which we call the Church, spread over all the earth. This service will be sung by St Mary le Tower Choir, Ipswich.

4.00pm: Choral Evensong – this service will also be livestreamed

A day of prayer and thanksgiving culminates in an uplifting service of Choral Evensong. This service will be sung by St Mary le Tower Choir, Ipswich.
