Join our celebration of Pride at York Minster in a special evening celebration of LGBTQIA+ lives followed by a meditative Compline. Experience the Cathedral after hours with a welcome from York Minster clergy, the chance to add your hopes to a prayer tree and refreshments.

Compline at York Minster combines traditional prayers, beautiful music and silence. The service will be sung by talented local musicians and singers.

 7.30pm – All are welcomed to York Minster on the eve of York Pride to celebrate LGBTQIA+ lives, enjoy the building and remember those we love.

8.30pm –Join a beautiful service of candlelit Compline to end the evening in the knowledge we are loved by God. Compline finishes at 9.15pm

Entry is free but the 7.30 event will be ticketed. Tickets will be available on this page from the 19 May.
