Seasonal Lates

Scroll to explore

Experience York Minster in the evening light when the cathedral opens its doors on Friday evenings during the summer holidays for its seasonal lates.

Visitors will be welcomed back for general admission visits from 7.00pm, following the cathedral’s Evensong service, and have until 10pm to explore the medieval cathedral (with last admission at 8.45pm).

The evening lates will include the elements of a daytime visit – time to explore the 800-year-old Minster, access to discover nearly 2,000 years of history in the Undercroft Museum and the opportunity to book Tower Trips.

Tickets for evening lates must be booked in advance, tickets are available here.

Entry to the cathedral during the evening is via the South Door.
