Each department is led by a director, who is part of the Senior Leadership Team which is responsible for the day to day management and delivery of the cathedral’s activities.
Kathryn Blacker - Chapter Steward
Kathryn is responsible for the development of the resources of the Minster (buildings, money and people).
Sharon Atkinson – Director of Communications
Sharon oversees all media relations, filming, photography, tourism destination marketing, design, print and digital content.
Eve Hartrick – Finance Director
Eve oversees the Minster’s business and financial administration, management accounts and budgetary management.
Ruth Dunlop – Director of People, Training and Organisational Development
Ruth oversees all Human Resources activity including recruitment, employment and wellbeing of staff and volunteers.
Robert Sharpe – Director of Music
Robert is responsible for organising and directing all aspects of the Minster’s music, as well as arranging its programme of concerts, broadcasts and tours.
Patricia Dunlop - Director of Visitor Experience
Pat oversees the visitor and retail teams responsible for welcoming thousands of people to the Minster each week.
Alex McCallion – Director of Works and Precinct
Alex oversees the maintenance, restoration and conservation of the cathedral and its precinct properties and services.
Vicky Harrison - Assistant Director of Collections and Learning
Vicky oversees the 300,000 objects in the cathedral's historic collections and the Learning Team which welcomes hundreds of schools to the Minster each year.
