Returning Candidates

If you have previously applied for a role at York Minster, using our online recruitment system, then great news! All the information you submitted on your most recent application is saved, so you don’t need to complete your employment or educational history, etc. from scratch.

Whilst you may possibly need to update or add to some of these (or other) areas of your application, you will almost certainly need to update your personal statement, where you address how you meet the person specification for the role you are applying for.

The easiest way to do this is to log into your account by clicking here and then click on your ‘profile’, from the menu on the left hand side, so you can update this where you need to, before selecting the vacancy you wish to apply for, scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking ‘Apply’.

If you are unsure how to do this, we have put together a short help sheet, to assist.

Confidential Declaration Form

In order for your application to be considered complete, you will need to submit a confidential declaration form. We require a new form to be completed with every application in order to meet our Safer Recruitment standards, even if the information hasn’t changed since your previous application.

When you submit your application, you will receive an email titled ‘New Questionnaire Received’ (this may go into your spam folder) advising you that there is a confidential declaration form for you to complete, and asking you to log in to your account.

Once you log into your account, click on ‘Questionnaires’, which you can find on the left hand side menu.

Then click on the most recent questionnaire at the top of the list, complete the form and then click ‘send’ to submit.

Please note: there is an option at the top of your profile to upload a CV. As stated previously, to comply with Church of England Safer Recruitment requirements, all applicants are required to complete an application form and we are unable to accept CVs. Please don’t attach a CV to your profile, but this will not be considered in any case.
