The York Minster Fund is supported by a number of individuals as well as charitable trusts and funds. See some of its recent supporters below.

The Headley Trust

The Headley Trust is part of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts which is the operating office of 17 different independent grant-making trusts established by members of three generations of the Sainsbury family. www.sfct.org.uk/Headley

National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF)

The fund is currently supporting a 20 year, £11m project to provide state-of-the-art protective glazing to all 128 of York Minster’s windows, providing protection against the elements to the irreplaceable medieval stained glass. NLHF has pledged to give a National Lottery grant of up to £1m to match every pound raised by the public and YMF, which will be used to establish an endowment fund to help pay for the glazing project. www.hlf.org.uk

Benefact Trust

Benefact Trust exists to make a positive difference to people's lives by funding, guiding and celebrating the work of churches and Christian charities; empowering the most vulnerable and giving people, communities and places a renewed opportunity to flourish.

Masonic Charitable Foundation

The foundation, which is funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, donated £170,000 to the cathedral in 2017 to fund three stonemasonry apprenticeships. MCF is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country. As well as supporting Freemasons and their families, it awards millions of pounds each year to local and national charities which help vulnerable people, advance medical research and provide opportunities for young people. www.mcf.org.uk

Pegasus cad-cam

Tecno Programe is an Italian software house that develops the Pegasus CAD-CAM brand, a range of custom software applications used in various contexts and production sectors for the machining of stone, marble, wood, metal, and other materials. The company is a strategic partner for manufacturers of anthropomorphic robots and CNC equipment, as well as for end users, providing tailor-made solutions designed to increase the efficiency and precision of production processes.
