Be inspired by York Minster and the city’s beautiful architecture in hands‑on workshops led by local artist Ric Liptrot. Wander through York’s medieval streets, easel in hand, capturing iconic landmarks and hidden corners that reveal the city’s unique character.
Each ticket includes a lunch at York Minster Refectory, the Grade II Listed brasserie style restaurant with cathedral views opened by HM King Charles III in 2023.

The workshops will run from 10am – 1.30pm on the following dates:
- Friday 10 April
- Friday 8 May
- Saturday 16 May
- Friday 19 June
Tickets for these workshops are very limited to enable Ric to provide hands-on help and guidance. The sessions are suitable for all ability levels, including beginners.

About Ric Liptrot:
Ric has been based in York since 2010. Part of a collective of artists at Pica Studios in nearby Grape Lane, he is immersed in York’s beautiful buildings and inspired to make art showcasing some of York’s lesser-known gems alongside some of its iconic buildings.
